Marlene is a proud Cowgirl from a 5th generation ranching family. Upon the very first meeting, Marlene will put you at ease with her authenticity, easy demeanor and knowledge of her industry. Listening to clients and delivering way beyond their expectations is the key to her success. Her attention to detail is second to none.
With a BFA in graphic design and illustration from the world-renowned Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, Marlene started her career as a professional graphic designer and hand lettering artist, later expanding her studies and experience to become a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers. Since 1986 she has been designing all genres of interiors. In 2009 Marlene focus turned to her love of designing interiors, furniture, accessories and jewelry inspired by ranch life, culminating in her signature style of Contemporary Western Design. Luxury Ranch furnishings and accessories have been represented at Cowboy Christmas in Las Vegas, The Dallas Safari Convention, and at major horse shows including the Del Mar National Horse Show where Marlene designed and sponsored the 2018 Luxury Ranch Rider’s Lounge.
Marlene lives with her husband Tom on their ranch in North San Diego County while enjoying her grown family, her dog Cowboy and her reining horse Zeke.
